At the heart of the X118P is the 3000W Peak / 1500W RMS integrated high-efficiency Class D amplifier module optimized for 4-ohm operation. This ensures maximum energy transfer, improved damping control, and enhanced low-frequency punch.

Built around VAL’s proprietary 18” high-excursion die-cast aluminium chassis driver, the X118P utilizes a precision-tuned bass reflex direct-radiating design to deliver deep and authoritative bass extension down to 34Hz with peak output levels reaching 134dB SPL.

The enclosure is heavily braced to minimize vibrations and constructed from high-grade MDF with a touring-grade textured waterborne black finish for superior durability. A reinforced kick-proof steel grille with internal acoustic foam ensures driver protection without compromising acoustic transparency.

Designed for maximum deployment flexibility, the X118P supports ground stacking, pole-mounted top systems, and flown configurations via integrated M10 rigging inserts.
