The SW218UHP is a very high power, large format 28Hz capable subwoofer designed for large venues and outdoor events requiring extended low frequency reproduction. SW218UHP can be used singularly or in multiples in both horizontal and vertical orientation using VAL’s SW stacking system which ensures secure stacking of multiple units. Ground stacking is also possible with any VAL Point source QX, ZX and VLA line array systems.
Using two of our proprietary 18” (4.5” VC) die-cast aluminium chassis high excursion drivers coupled with a hybrid slot/reflex design, this cabinet has a frequency response of 28Hz to 600Hz (-6 dB) at an astounding 141 dB SPL (peak).
The robust enclosure has a kick proof front grill with internal reticulated foam, hardwearing touring grade textured waterborne Black paint finish and two large heavy duty handles on each side achieving a high class look suitable for any application.
Integrated rubber feet are located on underside of the enclosure both in horizontal and vertical position for securing in multiple ground stack positions on additional SW218UHP subwoofers. Cups are countersunk into the top of the enclosure to lock in additional SW218UHP.
The SW218UHP features two top hat pole mount adapters both one in the horizontal and vertical position in order to enable pole mounting tops with the SW218UHP.
The rear cast aluminium connection plate has two 4 pin speakON® connectors fitted as standard, one input and one link. The speakON® connectors are wired on pins +1-1, with pass through of pins +2-2.
